This is my pure vanity page. I usually don't take good photos, the photographer generally catches me doing something silly with my face. But Christopher was able to get some great shots, guess that's why he's the professional.
Brief story behind the shots. I wanted some professional photos of me as a dancer but not the "typical" dancer shots. Having seen Christopher's work at the SunKing Dance Adult Dance Camp (full disclosure Christopher is married to the Camp's Director, Heidi Winton-Stahle), I knew Christopher was the guy. And the rest as they say is history. We traveled to an old abandoned hydro-plant in Richmond, Virginia and got this great shot as well as many others. I'll continue to change them up so eventually you will see them all. Special thanks to Debbie Stanley and Christine Heckel who made the (as Debbie put it) "Indiana Jones" trek with me to the shoot's "site" and helped with all the costume changes (and literally carried me across the dirt floor so I wouldn't get my pointe shoes dirty!), etc. It was a long day but lots of fun! And these most unique and individualized photos I will have forever.
